Bought this scope to try,mainly to see if I wanted a pistol scope.This thing held up to some very serious hot loads out of a 44 Redhawk.

Good little scope for the money. Even though it is technically a "pistol" scope, I never used it as such. It's played the role mounted in the "scout" scope position on an M1 carbine and a lever action .357mag. It has handled hundreds of rounds through both and is still mounted on the lever rifle to this day. Taken a few drops and still holds zero pretty good. For $35, you can't beat it.
